We started to work with Shearings Holidays when they recognised the increasing opportunity the online arena offered their business. As their target audience (the over 60's) have become the fastest growing online adopters - the opportunity would turn to a threat unless they delivered a competition beating service.
We were tasked with re-launching their website to make it a valuable research and booking application. The goal was to provide a richer brand experience and wider channel choice to their existing customers, as well as to extend reach to a new online audience.
We focused on developing a strong user experience. We created a strong online brand identity with relevant content for the target audience. We also worked closely with our client to integrate with their existing CRM systems to ensure that they could learn more about each customer segment based on their online behaviour. This enables effective ongoing customer relationship management and relevant customer communications over time. In the first month of launch traffic to the website doubled from the previous month and we maintain a consistent 40% uplift in traffic from the previous website.
